Kirby 30th Anniversary Celebrations Teased With “A Variety of Activities Coming Soon”

The official Kirby account in Japan has tweeted a teaser for the franchise’s upcoming 30th anniversary celebration. A new website has been opened up for the anniversary, and “a variety of activities coming soon” to celebrate have been teased.

Right now, there isn’t a lot of information about how Kirby’s big milestone anniversary, which happens on April 27, 2022, will be celebrated.

That being said, we received a brand new gameplay trailer for Kirby and the Forgotten Land this morning; this latest game in the series will release in March and will feature brand new copy abilities, multiplayer co-op play, and more.

Additionally, there is an adorable 30th anniversary wallpaper that can be downloaded on the teaser website. It features many of Kirby’s copy abilities throughout the franchise’s history. You can head over to the new teaser website to view and download this wallpaper right here.

We’ll have to stay tuned to see what other kind of celebrations are in the works for Kirby’s big anniversary this year. Hopefully we’ll start to learn more in the coming weeks or months, especially around the time Kirby and the Forgotten Land release and the actual anniversary date in late April.
