DMM and CyberAgent released the first trailer of the upcoming PuraOre! Smile Princess game for iOS, Android, and PC.
If the name rings a bell, it’s because the game is part of a media mix project that also includes the anime PuraOre! Pride of Orange, which is currently airing in Japan.
The theme is similar to the many anime/mobile game featuring an all-female cast of characters, but this one is about Ice Hockey.
The plot is fairly simple: the player has been appointed as the general manager of the Japanese under-18 female Ice Hockey team “Smile Princess.” The task is to scout members for the team and help them progress in their fight against the world’s strongest teams.
Of course, PuraOre! Smile Princess is free-to-play with the omnipresent gacha.
Pre-registration for the game is already available in Japan, and release should be imminent. At the moment a western release has not been announced, but you never know. Stranger things have happened in the mobile market.
In the meanwhile, you can take a look at the cast, ice hockey gameplay, and dialogue scenes in the trailer below.
Whether this will become the next Bang! Dram or not, we’ll have to wait and see.
