During its weekly livestream, the publisher revealed that major announcements will be made during a live show on December 30 by the series’ creator Kouki Yoshimune and executive brand producer Kazutoshi “Tororo” Matsumura.

How big will they be? In Japanese, they used the word “juudai” which is a pretty strong word that can be translated with “major,” “relevant,” “Important” or similar adjectives.

The specific nature of these announcements is still mysterious but a few days ago aNCHOR mentioned that we can expect two and you may find more hints in our recent interview with Tororo himself and production manager Sho Hamanaga.

Of course, you can expect a full report here as soon as the announcements are made.

On top of the tease and date, we take a look at the goodies that will be made available at Comiket. The goodiebag priced at 15,000 yen is the same that you can win with the giveaway that Anchos is currently hosting.

Those fans who want something special can get the Founder Set A which includes the goodiebag, an autographed photo tapestry of the Muv-Luv booth, a certificate with their name on a metal plate, the VR data of the booth, and a personalized appreciation video starring Totoro.

If one really wants to splurge, for 400,000 yen you get the Founder Set S which comes with the goodiebag, the content of Set A, an autographed staff jacket, an autographed staff hoodie, a laser engraved Muv-Luv crystal, and a dinner invitation with Kouki Yoshimune and Tororo.

If you’re interested in the Muv-Luv franchise in general, during the latest event we learned that the original Muv-Luv Trilogy (including Alternative) is coming to iOS and Android. We also got to enjoy the reveal of the official title and new gameplay for Immortal: Muv-Luv Alternative.

new action game titled Project Mikhail: A Muv-Luv War Story has recently been released in early access, while Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse will release on Steam soon.
