Today Aquaplus released another new trailer of its upcoming action JRPG Utawarerumono ZAN 2.
We get to see another chapter of the “Warrior’s Stories” feature, showcasing a series of substories that we’ll be able to enjoy in the game.
Specifically, the trailer showcases the substory titled “Birth of a Clan Chief” focusing on Nosuri.
You can watch it below, and there is a lot to see, considering that the trailer is nearly seven minutes long.
Utawarerumono Zan 2 will be released, at least in Japan, on July 22, 2021, for PS5 and PS4. You can check out the first trailer and screenshots and another trailer that showcased the cast and features, a third one, and more screenshots.
Recently, we also saw a ton of gameplay directly from Aquaplus, and another trailer focusing on another of the substories included in this one.
A playable demo has also been recently made available in Japan.
At the moment, no western release has been announced. That’s not surprising considering that the game has just been revealed for Japan a few weeks ago. The original Utawarerumono ZAN was published in the West by NIS America, so it isn’t unlikely that the publisher may bring across this one as well. Of course, we’ll let you know if anything is announced down the line.
