Demon Slayer for PS5, Xbox Series X, & More Shows Adventure Mode in New Trailer; Editions Announced

Today Sega had another reveal in store for the upcoming action game Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles.

Today Sega had another reveal in store for the upcoming action game Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles, known in Japan as Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppu Tan.

This time around, we get to take a look at the Adventure Mode, which is pretty much what it says on the tin. Specifically, we take a look at the Asakusa arc of the story.

In case you missed it so far, here’s what the game offers:

  • Exhilarating Arena Battles – Master the multitude of spectacular skills of a wide roster of characters from the anime, including Tanjiro and Nezuko, to overcome challengers in head-to-head battle, locally and online.
  • Moving Drama – Take up the sword of Tanjiro Kamado and guide his journey to become a Demon Slayer and turn his sister Nezuko back into a human.
  • Thrilling Boss Battles – Action and drama reach their peak in specially designed battles against powerful demons that will test Tanjiro’s mettle.

If you want to see more of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles, you can enjoy the trailers showing Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko, the trailers for Zenitsu and Inosukeone for Giyu Tomioka, three featuring Sakonji Urokodaki, Makomo, and Sabito, two more showcasing Shinobu Kocho and Kyojuro Rengoku, one focusing on Tanjiro Kamado in his Hinokami Kagura form, one showing the versions of the characters from Demon Slayer Academy, and one showing a second batch of the same group.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles will launch in Japan and Asia on October 14 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, & PC. The western release was just announced a few days ago, and will come one day later, on October 15.

The game is in development at popular developer CyberConnect2, which is certainly used to developing games based on well-known anime.
