We get a lot of new screenshots and artwork for the game, which is a crossover between the Senran Kagura and Hyperdimension Neptunia franchises (with an additional guest).

On top of well-known characters from the two popular waifu-driven series, today we meet two new characters.

You=Geima (which could be transliterated in You=Gamer, funny as it may sound) is the ninja master leading the mechanical ninja clan “Steam Legion.” She has a very aggressive personality and she’s the one who launched the Super Ninja War.

She is voiced by Chiwa Saitou, whom you may know as Imu in previous Senran Kagura games, Patty Fleur in Tales of Vesperia, and Tamamo in the Fate series.

On the other hand Tekko is another officer of the Steam Legion. Unlike You, she’s is not as aggressive. Quite the contrary, she has a kind personality and doesn’t want useless bloodshed. Her reasons for helping launch the Super Ninja War are unknown.

She is voiced by Azumi Waki, who plays Sayuri in Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation and Olive in Astral Chain.

We also take a look at plenty of gameplay screensots including the “Furinkazan Drive” that is a technique can be activated a certain number of times during battle and has effects bound to the elements, fire, water, wind, and Earth.

Senran Nin Nin Ninja Taisen Neptunia: Shojo-Tachi no Kyoen, which will finally bring the Senran Kagura series back to consoles, will release in Japan for PS4 on August 26, developed by Tamsoft and published by Compile Heart.

The title translates into into Senran Nin Nin Ninja Great War Neptunia: The Girls’ Shine. If you want to see more, you can enjoy the previous trailer and screenshots and the initial announcement.

At the moment, no western release has been announced, but I would be surprised if the game didn’t come to North America and Europe at some point in the future, likely from Idea Factory International. We’ll have to wait for an official announcement.

He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
