PlayStation has just announced its PS Plus free game selection for December, and it’s Avalanche Studios’ Just Cause 4 that headlines as the month’s big AAA experience.
The open-world action game launched back in 2018 to a fairly decent critical reception. Twinfinite scored the game 3.5/5 and concluded that “playing with possibilities of the physics engine as you zip across Solis, trying to take down yet another dictator, is as much fun as ever.”
Worms Battleground and Rocket Arena are your two other PS Plus freebies. And yes, there are three games per month now with PS Plus given that PlayStation is once again supporting two different platforms.
Of those two, Worms Battleground has to be to pick. Its 32-player multiplayer is among the series’ best ever, and it features modes like battle royale and deathmatch to spice things up further.
All PS Plus games for December will be available from the first of the month until Jan. 4.
Elsewhere, PlayStation has announced today that it’s hosting a free online multiplayer weekend. From Saturday, Dec. 19 to Sunday, Dec. 20, giving those who haven’t subscribed to PS Plus the opportunity to try games online.
Finally, do remember that you haven’t yet redeemed November’s PS Plus games then you still have a week to do so. That includes the excellent Hollow Knight and the all-new Bugsnax.
