Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord has been in early access for a while and its developers at TaleWorlds Entertainment have been very active in updating the game in the past few months.
Today they released a new video showcasing upcoming features, and the biggest of them is certainly the upcoming official modding tools which will put a lot of power in the hands of the users.
On the gameplay front autoblock will be available as an option in single player for those who want gameplay to be a little easier and less reliant on timing and situational awareness.
Spear bracing and hooked spear will give spear-armed footmen a new tool against mounted warriors respectively in multiplayer and single player.
The formation AI will also be overhauled, and we get to see new armor and shields for the Sturgian faction.
You can check the video out below.
