The gameplay showcases the grimdark environments of the vampire-themed expansion which is set to continue the Dark Heart of Skyrim storyline. The story will then continue later this year with another expansion named “Darkstorm.”

We also get to see some bosses that look rather nasty and that we have already seen with the most recent gameplay reveal a few weeks ago.

Incidentally, we now know that The Elder Scrolls Online will come to PS5 and Xbox Series X. If you already have the PS4 version or the Xbox One version you’ll be able to upgrade to next-gen for free.

On top of that, you won’t need to wait for the upgrade to play on the new consoles, as the developers plan to support backward compatibility.

As a last bit of news, you can now try the game for free starting now until August 19 on PC or Xbox One or August 20 on PS4.

You can enjoy the trailer below.

The Elder Scrolls Online is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.

The previous expansion, Greymoor, has been released a while ago for all platforms bringing back Skyrim under the spotlight.

If you want to see more about it, you can check out the launch trailerone about the Antiquity Systemone about the Dark Heart of Skyrim annual storyline, and one showcasing the overhaul of vampires tying up with the new story.
