RoboCop Beats Terminator to a Pulp in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath’s New Trailer

Mortal Kombat 11’s anticipated upcoming DLC Aftermath doesn’t launch until later this month, but today we’ve got our first glimpse of the action in a new gameplay trailer. And while it showcases a bunch of characters kickin’ ass, there’s no doubt that RoboCop is the star of the show for us.

Particularly so, as we get to watch him do battle with The Terminator, a showdown that fans of the respective franchises have probably been arguing over since the 1980s.

Along with Fujin and Sheeva, RoboCop will actually be added to the game for free in an update that launches in tandem with Aftermath. The update is also set to introduce new content and features, including all-new stages and the return of “Friendships,” a moveset that allows players to take their adversaries with a hint of kindness.

Aftermath itself centers around a story-driven campaign, which picks up from the main game’s ending, seeing a deified Liu Kang forging a new timeline under the guidance of Raidan.

Aftermath is available for all platforms from May 26.

In related Mortal Kombat franchise news, a red band trailer for Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge film released back in March, providing fans with some back story to go along with its bloodshed.
