Kotobukya revealed a new plastic model kit portraying the Rayleonard 03-AALIYAH Supplice, and you can find it on AmiAmi for 6,180 yen, which translates into approximately $57.

The scale is 1/72, which is actually a bit unusual for mecha model kits, being a lot more common for aircraft models. It stands approximately 180 mm tall.

The release window is June 2020.

Included in the kit is the following:

  • Main item (Plastic model set)
  • Weapons
    • Rifle “051ANNR (for right arm)”
    • Rifle “051ANNR (for left arm)”
    • Rifle “04-MARVE”
    • Plasma Rifle “SAMSARA”
    • Laser Blade “02-DRAGONSLAYER”
    • Grenade Cannon “OGOTO”
    • Flare “051ANAM”

    • “SALAF CORE-OPC01”
    • “03-AALIYAH/CLS1”

Armored Core 4 was released in 2006 for PS3 and Xbox 360. The last title of the series is Armored Core: Verdict Day, released in 2013. Since then, it has been dormant.

Before you go take a look in the gallery below here’s an anecdote: back in 2016, I asked Hidetaka Miyazaki himself whether a new Armored Core could be coming. He clearly responded that it was in the works, even if FromSoftware denied it the day after. I certainly heard what I heard, and I wasn’t the only one since it was a group round-table interview with several journalists present, but we haven’t heard anything about it since.

Ultimately, we can only wait and see.
