Devil May Cry 5 has passed 3.1 million units shipped as of December 31, surpassing Devil May Cry 4 that has shipped “only” 3 million copies in its lifetime.

We also learn that the Devil May Cry series is currently at 21 million copies shipped.

The latest update as of September 31 has the game at 2.7 million units, but apparently it has continued to sell at a rather sizable pace. 400,000 copies shipped in a quarter for a game that’s almost a year old is certainly a nice achievement.

Speaking of Capcom’s games, Street Fighter V also passed a milestone, now at 4.1 million copies shipped up from 3.9 in the latest update.

The Street Fighter series as a whole is now at 44 million copies shipped.

Devil May Cry 5 is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you want to learn why it’s so beloved by the fans, you can check out our review.

Street Fighter V is available only for PS4 and PC, and it’s about to get its Champion Edition on February 14.

He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
