Today, during a panel hosted at PAX South in San Antonio, Texas, NIS America announced a demo for the Langrisser I & II remake.
While not many details have been mentioned, we do know that the demo is coming for all three platforms.
We also heard that it’ll include six chapters across two games.
While save data won’t carry on to the finished game, it will unlock “a couple of cool things.”
This means that fans and newcomers alike will be able to test the remake of the glorious strategy JRPGs on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
If you’re unfamiliar with the original Langrisser and Langrisser II, here’s an official description:
“Langrisser I: The forces of darkness are descending upon the kingdom of Baldea. Take up your sword as Prince Ledin, and discover the evil that lies in the heart of the Dalsis empire.
Langrisser II: The forces of darkness once again threaten the realm. Thrust in between warring factions, it is up to our hero Elwin to navigate this war and determine which path will bring peace to this conflict.
Langrisser I & II is returning with both classic stories of good and evil now remade in beautiful high-definition visuals, reorchestrated music, and quality-of-life improvements to the gameplay and user experience that made these strategy RPGs truly LEGENDARY.”
If you want to see more, you can check out the original announcement, the previous trailer, another, a third, and plenty of gameplay in English.
Langrisser I & II will launch on on March 10, 2020 in North America, on March 13 in Europe, and on March 20 in Australia and New Zealand for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
