Root Film for PS4 and Nintendo Switch Reveals Even More Characters

Today Kadokawa Games revealed another batch of characters who will appear in its upcoming adventure game Root Film for PS4 and Switch.

Today Kadokawa Games revealed another batch of characters who will appear in its upcoming adventure game Root Film.

We get to see Shimane-born comedian Negosix, who will appear in the game playing himself. Apparently our hero will meet him quite often.

The second character is Shimanekko, the cat mascot of Shimane prefecture.

The third is Kazuya Makita, played by Yuki Fujita, followed by Hina Shiraishi, played by idol Natsumi Matsubara.

Last, but not least, we meet film director Kentaro Yamagishi, who will play himself in the role of one of our protagonist’s rivals in the competition to create the titular film.

Looks like Kadokawa Games really didn’t hold back in hiring celebrities to enrich the cast of Root Film.

You can check them out below.

If you want to see more about Root Film, you can check out the first screenshots and art revealed a few days ago, and the first trailer.

You can also take a look at two characters and three more revealed last week.

The game is coming to PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan in spring 2020, while the western release will come courtesy of PQube games at some point next year, for the same platforms.
