During the broadcast from the show, which is continuing on Mixer, we saw the mention that the next Inside Xbox is coming in 2020.

You can see it below.

Inside Xbox

For those unfamiliar with Inside Xbox, it’s a series of semi-regular livestreams much like Nintendo Direct and Sony’s State of Play in which Microsoft provides relevant news and reveals related to the Xbox brand.

During this week’s broadcast we saw the announcement of Everwild by Rare, Grounded by Obsidian Entertainment, and much more. While it wasn’t an E3-sized show, it came close enough.

Of course, this doesn’t mean that we’ll necessarily have to wait until next year to see some more Xbox-related news. Division head Phil Spencer himself mentioned that for the foreseeable future he doesn’t see a show in which Microsoft won’t announce a first-party game, and The Game Awards is just beyond the corner at the beginning of next month.

That being said, it’ll be interesting to see what the pacing for new announcements will be, and if quality will match quantity. So far, so good.
