How to Complete Self Important Revenant Quest in Code Vein

You’ll actually meet the Self Important Revenant pretty early on in Code Vein through the main story, but before you can start his side quest you’ll need to complete the Ruined City Center area, as in 100 percent reveal the map, and beat the Butterfly of Delirium.

Now there are three steps to complete the quest.

First Location – Parking Garage – Ruined City Center

First, teleport to the Parking Garage Mistle at Ruined City Center and you should see the Self Important Revenant standing in the immediate area. Talk to him and he’ll let you know about a dangerous Lost near the park ruins.

Now teleport to the Park Ruins Mistle then turn around to see the Lost. Kill it and return to the Revenant to complete the first step.

Second Step – Decayed Ship Interior – Dried-Up Trenches

Now the Self Important Revenant will move to Dried-Up Trenches, so move to the Decayed Ship Interior. Talk to him and you’ll learn that he’s looking for a Bloodspring, agree to help and he’ll give you the Cliffs of Rust Depths map.

Head back to Home Base and talk to Davis to use the new Depths map. Once at the Cliffs of Rust follow the map marker to the specified location and defeat the Lost there.

Now you can head back to the Self Important Revenant, or complete Cliffs of Rust first, your choice. Talk to him and now he’ll move to the final location.

Third Step – Poisonous Butterfly Nest – Ruined City Center

The final location is right where you fought the Butterfly of Delerium. Talk to the Self Important Revenant there and he’ll tell you that he’s looking for a location to make a new shelter, but he needs activated Mistle.

While this may seem tricky, it’s actually easy to get. You need to head to the Memories of – Your Character – area. If you happened to miss the area here’s where to go.

  1. Head to the Cathedral of Sacred Blood and to the arena where you fought the Argent Wolf Berserker miniboss.

  2. Head to the pathway after the arena and examine the body with the giant weapon embedded in it to find a special Vestige.

  3. This will transport you to a brand new area of your character’s memories.

Once you’re in Your Memories, head to the camp where everyone is waiting and find the objective marker on your map to pick up the item. Now head back to the Self Important Revenant and voila, you’re done.

You will get a reward, but more importantly, you need to complete the Self Important Revenant’s quest as part of getting the Rocky Ruins Depths map. However, first, you’ll also need to complete Richard’s questline.

That’s everything you need to know about how to complete the Self Important Revenant quest in Code Vein.
