We get to see a few scenes from the game alongside review scores (or at least a few of them, but that’s all it needs because it includes ours).

You can check it out below and see if you agree.

Personally, I feel that Code Vein is a really enjoyable game, with AI companions offering a rather unique spin into the Souls-like formula, a good story, and interesting characters.

It also comes with a great character creator and those lovely anime visuals and aesthetics that definitely add value to a game, and are a pretty rare proposition in the usually grimdark Souls-like space. We need more of that.

If you want to see more about Code Vein, you should check out our review and our recent interview with the game’s Producer.

You can take a look at some recent gameplay, another trailer with commentary from the developersthe second part on NPC companions, the third on character design, and the opening cutscene from Anime Expo.

Code Vein released on September 27 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
