Thankfully, the rest of the requirements aren’t too strenuous. Here are the full details, as listed on the game’s website:

That HDD space really is quite extraordinary, though. We’d typically only expect something that high from either the full GOTY edition with all DLC included or perhaps an open-world game of huge proportions.

To put it into perspective, we’ve listed the biggest games we could find below. As you can see, Modern Warfare might now be the largest install of a base game ever.

  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: 175 GB
  • Red Dead Redemption 2: 150 GB (PC)
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 3: 101 GB
  • Uncharted 4: 63 GB
  • Diablo III Reaper of Souls: 58.4 GB
  • Grand Theft Auto V (PS4 base game): 50 GB
  • Battlefield 1: 51 GB
  • Destiny 2: 52.8 GB
  • Wolfenstein: The New Order: 48 GB
  • Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: 46 GB
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man: 46.27 GB
  • Just Cause 3: 42.49 GB

In related news, Call of Duty’s latest trailer is an explosive sequence all about the special ops co-op mode.

Meanwhile, the franchise is enjoying unprecedented success on mobile devices. The mobile version of the game has recorded a staggering 100 million downloads in its first week.
