How to Get Seriously 5.0 Achievement in Gears 5.

A lot of patience is going to be required to unlock this most difficult of achievements as players who have attempted this feat in previous games may well know.

There are several steps involved in unlocking this achievement, none of which is going to be easy, but with a bit of patience and a lot of practice, there is nothing here that is unattainable.

The first step is to complete the main campaign on Insane difficulty. Told you this wasn’t going to be easy! You may want to enlist some IRL friends to complete this one, as is it is sure to be a doozy.

Next, you will need to earn every achievement related to both Horde and Escape game modes. For Horde mode at least, you can unlock everything on Easy difficulty, so that shouldn’t be too tough, but again it may be a good idea to enlist some friends.

Escape is a new multiplayer game mode in which players can create and share custom maps that slowly fill with poisonous, forcing players to move forward toward an evac zone. Again, nothing too crazy here, but you are going to have to put some time and effort to earn those achievements.

The really unfortunate part, though, is the PVP multiplayer aspect. You will need to get 20 Re-Ups and Reach General rank in Tour of Duty.

Tour of Duty is kind of like a Battle Pass, so if you are familiar with Fortnite and Apex Legends then you know what that entails. Essentially you need to reach max rank by playing a bunch of games, with the option of earning additional XP by completing different challenges.

The Re-Ups are essentially achieving a prestige rank, so attaining max rank, and then starting over and repeating the leveling process. This is a process that can take months, but the developers have stressed this achievement is only for the hardest of the hardcore.

To recap,

  1. Complete campaign on Insane difficulty

Simply play through the story on the toughest difficulty.

  2. Unlock every achievement for both Horde and Escape modes

Work your way through each, you can read the full list here.

  3. Reach General rank in Tour of Duty

This is the highest multiplayer rank, achieve it by leveling up in competitive game modes.

  4. Get 20 Re-Ups

That’s it, everything you need to know to unlock Seriously 5.0 in Gears 5. Be sure to check out our guide wiki for the full list of helpful articles. We have also listed some other helpful guides down below.
