Nintendo is rolling out another gameplay presentation from Gamescom 2019 today, and this one’s a goodie as they showcase The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition running on Switch in handheld mode.

The announcement that CD Projekt Red’s critically acclaimed RPG would be getting a Switch port caught the game’s industry by surprise when it was announced earlier this year; nobody imagined the hardware would be capable of running a game of The Witcher 3’s size and detail.

Well, today we finally get to see just what a brilliant job the wizards over in Warsaw have done. Apart from a few wobbles here and there the game appears to run just fine — and this is in handheld mode, of course, when the performance is less than it would be when docked.

Sure, the textures and detail are heavily reduced from console and PC versions, but it’s still mightily impressive.

You can check out the gameplay presentation for yourself below:

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition will be launching on the Nintendo Switch this fall, Oct. 15.
