The information was shared on Twitter, and first of all, we learn more about the upcoming patch, which will be released on August 20.

It will bring forth the inevitable DLC costume pack, improvements to the Lobby Match feature, more ranks for ranked matches, and more.

Incidentally, we also get a summer event with bonus player points and costume points until August 20.

Lastly, there’s a relevant tease about something that has been bothering players on PS4 for quite a while. At the moment you can purchase DLC costumes separately only on Xbox One and PC. In Japan you can do so also on PS4, but if you’re in the west, you’re pretty much forced to buy the whole thing.

Of course, this isn’t desirable for those focusing only on one or two fighters. Luckily, this is going to change soon, with more details coming in early September.

If you want to learn more about the game, you can read our review of the game and take a look at the latest DLC pack which kicked off the second season pass.

Dead or Alive 6  is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
