Fortnite: How to Visit Different Wind Turbines Fast & Easy (Week 5 Challenge)

Ahh, the weekly challenges in Fortnite. Some of them are great fun, others less so. The week 5 challenges are a bit of a mixed bag, including completing laps of various race tracks, and the usual searching chests at different named locations or dealing damage with certain weapons. Players also need to visit different Wind Turbines in a single match, and we’ve found a way to get it done quickly.

What Are Wind Turbines in Fortnite?

Wind Turbines are pretty easy to spot in Fortnite. They’re those giant windmill-looking things you can spot littered just about everywhere. We’ve included an image of what you’re looking out for below, just in case you’re still not entirely sure what we’re talking about. Just to the right of our blue marker is what you’re looking out for, with the three blades.

Visiting Different Wind Turbines Fast & Easy in Fortnite

Okay, so the deal here is that you need to visit different Wind Turbines in a single match. While you could traipse around the entire map, trying to spot these as you go, there’s actually five of these turbines all lumped together in one particular part of the map. Pleasant Park is where you’ll want to aim for, and once you’re here, simply look at all of the hills and mountains surrounding it.

That’s right, on each and every one of them, there’s a different wind turbine for you to go and visit. You can kind of see three in our screenshot above. One directly in front of us just to the right of our ice puppa in the distance. One directly to our left, and another to the right of our building materials counts on the right. Then, behind us are the two you can see in the screenshot above.

What’s better, there’s a bunch of trees and other items you can hack away at with your harvester so you can climb up to these nice and easily. Plus, some of them even have ziplines so you can make a quick getaway if needs be from one to another. As such, mix and match between these depending on how busy they are until you’ve visited all the wind turbines you need in a single match.

This is the fastest and easiest way to complete this week 5 challenge in Fortnite we’ve found so far. Have you found an even easier way? Let us know down in the comments below. Don’t forget, once you’ve completed all of the week 5 challenges, you’ll unlock the week 5 loading screen and can track down the week 5 secret battle star, which we’ve already got the location for.
