Today, during the Nintendo Direct from E3 2019, PlatinumGames showcased a new trailer of its upcoming action game Astral Chain.

We get to see a look at the story, and at some of the characters. Of course, they shine with the unmistakable style by Character Designer Masakazu Katsura.

“ASTRAL CHAIN is a new action game from PlatinumGames, directed by Takahisa Taura, known for his work as the game designer on NieR: Automata, and supervised by Hideki Kamiya, creator of the Bayonetta™ series. As part of a police special forces unit in a multi-cultural futuristic city, players work together with a special living weapon, the Legion, in a synergetic action system of battle and exploration.”

The game will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch on August 30 both in North America and Europe.
