The publisher posted on the game’s official Twitter account a couple of messages respectively from Director Hiroshi Miyaoka and Producer Juntaro Kouno.

Both developers tease a possible new game, and in particular, Kouno-san mentions that he’s preparing for the next title together with Miyaoka-san a Development Director Yuusuke Tomono.

Of course, they also thank the fans of the series for their support.

If you’re unfamiliar with Metal Max Xeno, it’s the latest game of the Metal Max series, which debuted in 1991 on the Famicom, then continued across Sony and Nintendo consoles through several games, landing on mobile before finally being resurrected last year for PS4 and PS Vita under the Kadokawa Games umbrella with Metal Max Xeno.

The game was also released in the west by NIS America, but only for PS4.
