The livestream was presented by Marketing Manager Yasuhiro Kitao, who you may remember from when he covered the same role on Bloodborne for Sony Interactive Entertainment before moving on to FromSoftware.

Interestingly, Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Studio Producer Masaaki Yamagiwa was also present. You may also find him familiar due to his work on Bloodborne.

During the show, Kitao-san showcased several screenshots and illustrations, including the reveal of the map of the game, which is pretty much structured like the world of a Souls game. You can see them in the gallery at the bottom of the post.

On top of that, we also saw some gameplay played on PS4 by Lead game designer Masaru Yamamura, starting with a battle showing the basics of combat in Sekiro.

The second batch of gameplay shows a new area, stealth, and plenty of brutal combat. Interestingly, we also see the interaction with a friendly character sho assists the player in battle.

The third batch of gameplay was played by music Producer TeddyLoyd. who nearly managed to kill the Corrupted Monk boss, while the last showcases Yamamura-san once more as he shows how it’s done in record time.

If you want to see more of the game, you can enjoy a trailer showcasing the storyanother video showing the corrupted monk, one starring General Tenzen Yamauchi, and another featuring Lady Butterfly, one more showing off the Chained Ogre, and one featuring the Great Serpent.
