Right now, many MLB The Show 19 players are experiencing what appears to be a pretty major bug for Diamond Dynasty. Here is everything we know about MLB The Show 19’s Diamond Dynasty 5 starting pitcher & coming soon bug, and what players can do in the meantime to try and get around this frustrating issue.
The bug appears to be exclusive to Diamond Dynasty’s mandatory tutorial. In a nutshell, what is happening is that the tutorial is requiring that your lineup is completely set with 5 starting pitchers before starting it.
However, you can’t advance to your Diamond Dynasty team to set your 5 starting pitcher rotation until you have completed the tutorial… Starting to see the problem here?
When players try to leave that tutorial screen to get to the rest of Diamond Dynasty, they are greeted with a message that Diamond Dynasty is coming soon.
For those seeing an empty DD team causing errors, we are investigating the issue.

MLB The Show 19, like other games in the series, is no stranger to bugs, and this appears to be one that has affected many, if not all players looking to jump right into The Show 19’s premiere online game mode.
So what can you do? Right now there isn’t a fix that we can find. The only thing we can suggest is to contact MLB The Show Tips Twitter. Specifically this Tweet contains the support contact information for you to report your issue (politely please!).
By getting this on the radar of San Diego Studios early and often, it could help them understand the urgency of this Diamond Dynasty issue if it’s extremely widespread, and the specific information about your region, location and other relevant factors could help them pinpoint a fix.
The only solution they have offered so far is to try restarting your PS4/game, but we’re still receiving the error as of right now.
