Dontnod Unveils Release Date for Life Is Strange 2 Episode 2 With a Live-Action Trailer

Dontnod and Square Enix have released a live action trailer for episode 2 of Life is Strange 2. For anyone who has not played the first episode yet, this teaser might spoil some moments for you since it shows the last moments of that episode.

In the trailer, we see two actors portraying Sean and Daniel who end up staying in a hotel to evade the police after some unfortunate events have taken place. While Sean goes to a vending machine to get some snacks for the two of them, Daniel finds himself watching a news story, uncovering a secret that his older brother has been attempting to keep from him over the course of the past few days.

Not going to spoil anything, but if you watched any of the promotional material for the adventure game, then you probably already know about what happens to the father of Sean and Daniel.

Life is Strange 2 Episode 2 will launch on Jan 24 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For more on Life is Strange 2, you can read up on why the brotherly dynamic is the strongest asset of the game and our opinion on the game’s take on race and politics in modern America.
