The trailer focuses on one of the most classic warbirds that we’ll get to fly in the game, the mighty McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle.

This is only the first Ace Combat 7  trailer of a long series introducing many of the aircraft flyable in Ace Combat 7, with the next coming on Thursday, Dec. 6, at 00.00 Japan time. There will be fifteen trailers in total spanning December and January until the game’s launch and even beyond that.

The game goes back to the fan-beloved fictional world of Strangereal. It’s set in 2019, as the Osean Federation and the Kingdom of Erusea wage war over the International Space Elevator and public opinion.

You can check it out below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy a previous trailer, a few screenshots released this morning, and learn about the PlayStation VR missions included in the game.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown releases in Japan for PS4 and Xbox One on Jan. 17, 2019. It’ll come to North America and Europe on Jan. 18. A PC version will follow on Feb. 1.
