Today Gran Turismo Sport Producer Kazunori Yamauchi teased a new update coming to the game via Twitter.

According to Yamauchi-san, the patch will be released on December 5th, and it will include seven new cars.

As usual, he teased the cars with obscured silhouettes. Yet, fans have recognized many of them, including the iconic Ferrari F50, the McLaren P1 GTR, the Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am, and more.

We’ll probably hear the rest of the contents of the update over the next few days.

Polyphony Digital has been consistently updating Gran Turismo Sport since its release a year ago. While it proved rather divisive, with a large part of the fanbase wanting a single-player campaign (that has since been added), and bemoaning initial lack of content, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s first-party racing studio has certainly delivered over time.

It’ll be quite interesting to see how much longer support for the game will last, but even more so, whether Polyphony Digital will return to the original approach or will stick with the e-Sport angle with its next game, whenever it’ll be announced.

Gran Turismo Sport is currently available for PS4. If you want to know more about the game, you can read our review.
