Sinnoh Pokemon Can Now Be Caught in Pokemon GO

Last week, Niantic and The Pokemon Company gave us a little tease concerning gen 4 Pokemon from the Sinnoh region making their way into Pokemon GO. It turns out that these Pokemon are finally available to be caught in-game with a select few showing up in the wild and coming out to play.

Since this is the first wave of Pokemon to be released, there will be more and more as the weeks go along as well as new raids, updates, eggs, and gameplay enhancements. As for now, you’ll definitely encounter the three starters that trainers chose in Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Pearl, and Pokemon Platinum, which is the Grass-type Turtwig, the Fire-type Chimchar, and the Water-type Piplup.
