Get Ready to Snap Some Cool Pics for the Pokemon GO AR Photo Contest

Pokemon Snap in real life.

Starting today, the Pokemon GO team is starting an AR photo contest that will challenge Pokemon trainers everywhere to snap the best AR photos of Pokemon. Use your surroundings and pretend like you’re playing a new version of Pokemon Snap and take shot after shot to get the best picture possible.

Once you snap your epic Pokemon GO AR Photo, just post the picture to Instagram and make sure to use the hashtag #PokemonGoContest. The team over at Niantic will then choose the top ten photos and the winners will be prized with a Pokemon-themed prize pack that includes: a Pokemon GO Plus, an autographed poster by the Pokemon GO team, and Bluetooth earbuds.

The contest will end on Oct. 25, so make sure to get those pictures in on time. You never know, you can end up being that lucky winner. Good luck!
