Final Fantasy XV Celebrates Ignis’ Birthday with a Creepy Mask

That's it!

The four leads of Final Fantasy XV all have their own individual birthdays. As it turns out, the 23rd birthday of your trusty bespectacled buddy Ignis is tomorrow (or today, depending on when you read this), Feb. 7. To celebrate the occasion, Square Enix has decided to let folks download and print a mask of his face to wear. Only thing is….it kinda gets a little odd.

Don’t get us wrong, we love the boys of Final Fantasy XV. Ignis is a vital member of the team, from his strategies to his sometimes disturbing love of cooking. But when you’ve got something like say, a room full of people wearing his face, all of them staring at you? Yeah, it can feel more than a tad disturbing.

If you want to get in on the special occasion and wear Ignis’ face for a day (or longer, whatever floats your boat), you can go ahead and download the mask here. When the other Final Fantasy XV boys’ birthdays get close–for the record, the next one up is Gladio’s on Apr. 2– Square Enix will likely have masks of their faces as well, so maybe collect them all when they all come out?
