Sorry, You Can’t Keep Pokemon You Catch in the Sun and Moon Demo

Gotta set them free.
Pokemon, sun and moon, starters, evolutions

The Pokemon Sun and Moon demo is out and players will be getting their first taste of the new adventure waiting for them in Alola. You’ll be able to check out the Pokemon Center, meet a friendly guy called Hau, introduce yourself to the new Professor, and of course, battle some ‘mon.

However, while catching the creatures isn’t in the main section of the demo, you won’t even be able to keep any that you catch in the Pokemon Catching Challenge. If you want to find out how to get access to this specifically, be sure to check out our guide here.

This is likely to stop eager Trainers from accruing a hefty amount of ‘mon before they’ve even got the game. Nevermind, at least it’s not too long to wait and we got a good taste of what Sun and Moon have in store for us come their November release date.
