The Art of Metal Gear Solid V and a limited edition version are coming to book stores this year.

According to publishers Dark Horse, this art book will have concept art and designs that inspired the lengthy game. Metal Gear Solid V had a very long and complex development cycle, so this might show things that were left out before the final release.

The art book will have “hundreds of pieces of never-before-seen art”, and there will be one more piece of art for the limited edition. Illustrator Ashley Wood is creating an alternate cover for the limited edition version of the book.

Wood has created artwork for Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and Peace Walker in the past. This exclusive art will only be available in the limited edition book, which will only have 400 copies available.

The Art of Metal Gear Solid V will be available in bookstores and Amazon on Nov. 2.
