Final Fantasy XV Director Reveals Series-First Localizations for the Game

Final Fantasy XV’s director, Hajime Tabata, has some good news for Final Fantasy fans in Latin America and South America.

The highly anticipated role-playing game will now include text in Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. This marks the first time in the franchise’s history that a game will be localized to these languages.

Tabata wants Final Fantasy XV to have a similar impact on the community that Final Fantasy VII did, and hopes the ending will make people cry. The release date has been rumored for Sept. 30, but will be officially revealed next week during the Uncovered event. The event will be streamed live from the Final Fantasy XV website on both Twitch and YouTube.
