Netflix has been making a huge splash with some of their original programming, especially their Marvel series Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Both of the shows have been met with huge amounts of praise from both critics and fans, and now Daredevil’s Season 2 is quickly approaching.
We finally got confirmation of the second season last month with a short teaser trailer, and a release date of March 18. Now, we have a full fledged action-packed trailer today that gives us a good look at The Punisher in action.
We see how The Punisher, played by John Bernthal of Walking Dead fame, comes to Hell’s Kitchen and starts to eliminate evil in the city with his own form of justice. Daredevil and his allies consider if their actions are what brought him around, and the two vigilantes look to be in a constant struggle against each other. We also get a quick look at another character at the end of the trailer, Matt Murdock’s old flame Elektra.
