DICE 2016: Hideo Kojima Shows up with Del Toro Eyeball Hands

Nightmares turned into love.

Closing out today’s DICE presentations is “A Conversation with Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro,” where the two creators have been reminiscing on their adorable friendship. While taking turns describing their love for each other’s works, Kojima revealed his palm-homage to del Toro’s film, Pan’s Labyrinth.

Only Kojima and del Toro could make a terrifying, disgusting monster into a beautiful symbol of friendship. It’s not surprising, considering the two also said they often sing karaoke anime theme songs together in their respective languages.
