As of this writing, Amazon.com is offering EA’s Need For Speed for just $23.57 on Xbox One – The cheapest it has been spotted since its release last month.

This reboot of the popular series is the completely nocturnal, always online racing game that pits players against the top street racers in Los Angeles. You’ll embark on a mission to become the best in the city as five distinctive stories overlap in your attempt to become the ultimate racing icon.

If you’ve been turned off by what some have called a game that’s in dire need of fixing, the latest patches have taken care of many issues found in the game’s critical reviews since launch. The biggest patch the game received thus far addressed the issue with AI “rubber-banding” during race events. The developers have promised that the game will feel much more balanced once the update is installed. Other features patched in include, mirror functionality, new daily challenges, and an improved color picker.

If you were hoping to pick up the game on PlayStation 4 for just as cheap, unfortunately that version is still resting at $39.99.
