Xbox Game Pass Expands

Xbox Game Pass Just Got Even Bigger With Eight New Games

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Xbox Game Pass, the Netflix like game subscription service from Microsoft, is expanding in March. Microsoft will be adding eight new games into its catalog in the following month, including the highly anticipated Sea of Thieves, from Rare. Microsoft also added eight games at the beginning of this month.

Back in January it was announced that Xbox One exclusives from Microsoft Studios would be included in Xbox Game Pass on day one, and this is the first one. In March players will be able to get their hands on games such as

  • Rise of the Tomb Raider
  • Super Lucky’s Tale
  • Resident Evil Revelation 2
  • Oxenfree
  • Sonic CD
  • The Final Station
  • Euro Fishing
  • Sea of Thieves

It seems Microsoft is committed to making Xbox Game Pass a viable alternative for gamers: with new releases coming out day and date on Game Pass, and a flood of new games being added to the catalog. Super Lucky’s Tale came out back in November of last year, and is already being included in Game Pass. Getting games that are only a few months old into their catalog is a healthy  way for Microsoft to continue to grow their service. This new batch of games boasts well for Microsoft, and gives them over 100 games now in the Xbox Game Pass library.

You can try these new games out on Xbox Game Pass for free during a 14 day trial.
