ReCore was a Microsoft-exclusive title released on the PC and Xbox One in late 2016. The action adventure game put players in the shoes of Joule as she explores the utopian colony of Far Eden with the help of her trusty Corebot called Mack. The game was hotly anticipated but received mixed to fair reviews upon its release.
Though the game may not have struck quite the chord Microsoft was hoping for, it was still praised for its fun combat, sharp controls, and notable characters. If you enjoyed your time with ReCore then you may be interested to learn that a definitive edition version of the game has been rated by the German ratings site USK.
A definitive edition for ReCore has yet to be announced by Microsoft but, if this rating is accurate, it looks like this could be a good chance for those who missed it first time around to get in on the action. A definitive version of a game usually includes all the updates and DLC released so far for the game. We’ll have to wait for Microsoft to comment before we can know for sure what the definitive edition of ReCore will offer.
