Today, Minkonet, a South Korean tech company, announced its partnership with developer Bluehole Studios to bring players its 360-degree data capture technology.

“Minkonet’s full suite of 3D replay solutions includes a Replay Highlight Cam, Esports Cam, Streamer Cam and Cinemax Cam, all designed to unleash new content capabilities previously unseen in gaming,” the company detailed.

Additionally, players will have access to a killcam to view their deaths after falling in combat. Killcams can also be viewed outside of matches and display full range of vision.

“The company’s technology can be leveraged by game developers across all platforms to help curb the increasing amount of cheating and hacking issues afflicting the gaming community worldwide,” said Minkonet.

Along with the new 3D replay system, PUBG will introduce its new desert map, Miramar, when version 1.0 launches. Earlier this month, the game debuted on Xbox One and Xbox One X. Although its continued to gain popularity, the console port has been known to suffer from technical issues.

PUBG is now available on PC and Xbox One.
