Once upon a time, Bandai Namco released GIRLS und PANZER Dream Tank Match for PS4, and now the game is coming to Nintendo Switch with the title GIRLS und PANZER Dream Tank Match DX. The good news is that it’s coming with English subtitles.
More precisely, Bandai Namco Southeast Asia is releasing the game in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, and Indonesia day and date with the Japanese launch, and it will include Japanese voiceover and English text and subtitles.
The Nintendo Switch version will include plenty of new features, including new tanks, new characters, and more as mentioned by Bandai Namco itself.
- 4 new characters from GIRLS und PANZER das FINALE Episode 1: BC Freedom Academy’s Mary, Andou, Oshida, and Ogin of Oarai Girls’ Academy’s TEAM-SHARK!
- New tanks: MK.IV, Renault FT-17, S35, and ARL 44!
- Addition of a new Panzerfahren Festival mode; a tournament-style game mode that can be enjoyed entirely offline!
- A grand total of 40 new and beautifully 3D-modelled Tank Commanders who can look out of the cupola!
- Addition of multiplayer matches for up to 8 players on Local Communication!
- And many, many more features are also powered-up!
If you purchased the PS4 version, you shouldn’t worry, because of a “Deluxe DLC” including all the features mentioned above will also launch for Sony’s console on February 21st.
Alongside the announcement, a trailer has been released, and you can take a look at GIRLS und PANZER Dream Tank Match DX below. Considering that the PS4 version has never been launched in the west, it’s likely that licensing issues will prevent a release of the Switch version as well. That being said, it’s easy to import, and English subtitles are invaluable to enjoy the game.
