Just Cause 3 Load Times to be Significantly Improved via Incoming Patch

In a blog post on the official Just Cause website, Avalanche Studios has announced that patch 1.02 that will come to PC and consoles this week. It will be available on PlayStation 4 first, from this morning, rolling out across other platforms before the weekend.

Avalanche also released information on the size of the patch and the improvements it will bring. It will be 132.1 MB and players can expect:

  • Significantly improved loading times.
  • Optimizations to online stats.
  • General stability fixes.
  • Fixed an issue related to challenges, wherein vehicles sometimes disappeared when starting a challenge.
  • Fixed issues related to screen resizing and closing the game window before the game has fully started up [PC ONLY].

The studio has also explained why certain features aren’t in the game. They have explained why there is no sprint button, why Rico cannot crouch, and the easy ways to find final chaos objects or skip cutscenes. Their explanations are available in full in their blog post.
