Respawn Entertainment, the studio that developed Titanfall, has posted four job listings for an “unannounced title” on their official careers page.
The most detail for the unannounced game can be found on the third listing for a “Senior Systems Designer”. The listing reads:
“This position will be on the team that is creating a new 3rd person action/adventure IP. Respawn is seeking a Senior Systems Designer to embrace and contribute to the project vision, specifically in the areas of hero control/mechanics, enemy design, AI behaviors, combat/weapons, class design, skills/progression, story, and boss encounters.”
Nothing else is known about the project at this time.
This new IP is being developed alongside the Titanfall sequel which was confirmed to be in development by studio co-founder Vince Zampella in March 2015. Currently, Respawn is hiring for 4 different positions that will be working on this sequel including a server software engineer and senior environment artist.
The original Titanfall was exclusive to Xbox One when it was released in March of 2014, but according to Zampella the sequel will “be multiplatform.”
In that same interview with IGN, Zampella also noted that Respawn was working on building another team. “That’s the main focus but we’re starting up a second team and doing some smaller stuff too. Small, exploratory, taking it slow!”
