MGSV: The Phantom Pain is the gift that keeps on giving. In fact, some are using the game and its characters to create some truly amazing presents for their family and friends. Take this watercolor painting of Venom Snake that was done by one Lavina Marie for her boyfriend for instance. Posted on Reddit, this stunning image shows off Snake with his shrapnel horn, scarf, and mechanical arm as he gives a death stare that would make anyone tremble in their boots.
The attention to detail is nothing short of amazing, and there’s no doubt that Hideo Kojima himself would be impressed with the painstaking recreation of the MGSV’s protagonist. Considering that this was the artists first attempt at video game art, it will make you wonder what she’ll manage once she’s had more practice with the subject matter. This is definitely one amazing piece of fan-art and easily one of the best gifts a fan of MGSV: The Phantom Pain could hope to receive.
