Summer Games Done Quick 2019 Speedrunning Schedule Revealed

Speedrunning marathon for charity Summer Games Done Quick has announced its full schedule of games for its 2019 event this June.

The annual week-long event kicks off with a speedrun of the first Spyro the Dragon from the Spyro Reignited Trilogy released last November and ends with a scheduled six-hour run of the Super Nintendo role-playing classic Chrono Trigger.

Other games in the schedule include Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu/Eevee!, Tetris Effect, Minecraft, Kingdom Hearts III, Divekick, a Super Mario World ROM hack called Grand Poo World 2, and Octopath Traveler which was officially announced for PC today. Summer Games Done Quick 2019 will be supporting the Doctors Without Borders organization, which delivers emergency medical aid to people worldwide affected by conflict or natural disasters. The summer event has supported Doctors Without Borders since 2013 with last year’s event raising over $2.1 million for the organization.

Summer Games Done Quick 2019 will be taking place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bloomington – Minneapolis South in Minneapolis, MN from June 21 to June 30. The entire event can be watched from the official Games Done Quick Twitch channel.
