Star Wars Battlefront has been out for two weeks now and, despite a few short comings, fans are having a great time either crushing the rebel scum or destroying the Empire.
During the run up to the release of Star Wars Battlefront, it was announced by EA that the game will receive free DLC in the form of the Battle of Jakku map pack. This DLC includes a new free map and game mode which is set on the planet Jakku and depicts a battle that will be connected to the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens film. Those who pre-ordered Star Wars Battlefront will get the DLC today on December 1 whilst everyone else will get it on December 8.
To celebrate the release of this new content, EA has released a trailer for the map pack which shows off gameplay and gives us a glimpse at what to expect from the new map and game mode.
Given that one of the main criticisms of Star Wars Battlefront was its lack of maps and game modes, this free DLC pack will no doubt help improve the game’s appeal.
