Sega Explains Yakuza Kiwami’s Majima Anywhere System

Sega has shed some more light on Yakuza: Kiwami’s new “Majima Anywhere” system, which will see the series madman Majima Goro emerge from trash bins, manhole covers, and more to randomly attack Kazuma Kiyru. This new system was revealed in a trailer last week, which you can check out below.

According to Sega, the reason why Majima Goro will attack Kazuma at any time is because he wants “to awaken Kiryu’s intuition” after his 10-year prison sentence and because he wants “to enjoy more fights.” They also revealed that much like how Kazuma will come with multiple fighting styles, Majima will also have four styles to choose from. These styles are the rapid hitting “Dancer”, the balanced “Fight Master”, the hard hitting “Slugger” and a fourth style called “the Mad Dog of the Shimano.”

Besides adding a nice sense of unpredictability, fighting Majima is the only way that Kiyru can unleash his fourth and strongest fighting style called “the Dragon of the Dojima.” Another benefit to fighting Majima is that if players complete certain conditions they’ll be able to some some of Majima’s moves as Heat Actions.
