Konama just released a list of all the new content that will be making its way to Metal Gear Solid V this month.
While a large portion of the update for May focuses on items to help defend your FOB installations, such as tripwires and upgraded equipment for guards, the update also features quite a unique weapon: the Fulton Canon.
The Fulton Canon, which you can see below, will allow Metal Gear Solid V players to fire warheads equipped with fulton rounds at targets, instantly extracting said targets back to the base of the player. This is a handheld variant of the Ballista weapon for D-Walker, which although allowed for the firing of fulton warheads, restricted mission completion rankings to an A.
On top of this, the update features new equipment such as Sneaking Suits for your FOB guards to wear, rendering them almost invisible to the naked eye. Players can also now dispatch a strike force to a specific FOB base prior to your arrival, in the hope that the squad will have knocked out all defences before your arrival.
The May update for Metal Gear Solid V was released just yesterday for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, coming in at approximately 709MB.
