New Uncharted 4 Trailer to Show at Star Wars Force Awakens Premieres, as if Hype Wasn’t High Enough

Ok, NOW I'll see Star Wars.

As if you needed another reason to rush out and see Star Wars.

Straight from the official Playstation Twitter, the new Uncharted 4 Trailer will play ahead of this weekend’s premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, in select US theaters. No criteria was given for what a “select US theater” is, but presumably a theater within the United States of America.  Sorry, non-US Uncharted fans.

While, admittedly, this would have made more sense ahead of that OTHER Harrison Ford franchise, it’s still a pairing worth getting excited about. Uncharted is one of gaming’s most action movie-iest franchises, and Star Wars is one of film’s most action movie-iest franchises. Sony knows what it’s doing marketing these two together.

Does this news make you more excited about tonight’s premiere?  Are you reading this tomorrow and saw the trailer and want to talk about it?  Were you not in the special “select US theater” and missed the trailer altogether?  Let us know your thoughts below.
